ED CREWS, was born and raised in Cheyenne, Wyoming.  In 1987 he moved to Tempe, AZ to attend Arizona State University.  In 1991 he earned his Bachelor of Science in Business.  After graduation Ted spent two years working at criminal defense law firms in Tempe, Arizona before attending law school at Hamline University School of Law in Saint Paul, MN.

After law school Ted became a Deputy Public Defender in Maricopa County where he spent three years defending a wide variety of serious felony cases.  During his last year with MCPD Ted defended over 1500 people in probation violation court.  In January of 2001 Ted left MCPD and opened "The Law Offices of Ted J. Crews, P.C." where he focused on defending people accused of felony and misdemeanor offenses. 

In October of 2003 Ted began a "of counsel" relationship to the law firm of Alcock & Associates where he handles complex criminal cases and federal court cases.
